Subject: Dictator is the original 1904 Robert McLain sloop built on Bremen Long Is, Maine. Totally restored with contemporary amenities by the Jarvis Newman Yard in Southwest Harbor, Maine she was the pattern for the fiberglass Dictator line of Friendships.
